This study investigates the influence of 3D printing parameters on the mechanical properties of CR-PLA composites manufactured using fused filament fabrication (FFF). An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of extrusion temperature, layer thickness, and printing speed. The Young’s modulus, maximum tensile stress, and elongation at break were determined through mechanical testing. The results revealed significant variations in the mechanical properties depending on the selected printing conditions. Statistical analysis of the experimental data was performed, and a regression equation describing the influence of the process parameters on the strength of the printed parts was derived. The obtained results demonstrate the significant effect of FFF printing parameters on the mechanical properties of CR-PLA composites and provide a basis for optimizing their manufacturing conditions. A comparative tribological analysis of CR-PLA and PLA specimens was also conducted. The results showed that the incorporation of carbon filler significantly affects the friction and wear behavior of the material. CR-PLA specimens exhibited a more stable variation in the coefficient of friction during testing and a lower coefficient of friction compared with unfilled PLA. Thus, the incorporation of carbon filler into the PLA matrix contributes to improved tribological performance by reducing the coefficient of friction and enhancing the stability of the friction process.
