Industrial personnel training and logistical supply chain planning are in dire need of a systematic overhaul. In the context of Industry 4.0, executing macro-logistical changes—such as shifting from decentralized urban production to a centralized mega-factory—carries massive financial risks if tested blindly. Here, we outline a comprehensive methodology to build an integrated virtual environment. We merged the "Digital Twin" concept with automated training tools to solve both engineering and human resource challenges. We developed a virtual model and a discrete-event digital twin of logistics processes in the open-source JaamSim environment. The results of our simulation experiments proved the absolute efficiency of a decentralized logistical strategy utilizing 5 factories: system throughput increased by 5 times, infrastructure utilization hit 98%, and average transport costs dropped by 35%. Furthermore, to solve the massive shortage of qualified logistics engineers capable of operating these systems, we established an automated training ecosystem. We implemented a smart course generation system via a specially developed Telegram bot. By simply uploading a document or a book into the bot, the system automatically structures and generates a full training course. The time required to create highly technical training materials was reduced from several weeks to just a few minutes, completely eliminating the tedious manual labor of instructional designers.
