Technological readiness is responsible for developing ease of use and usefulness, providing satisfactory service experiences to users in mobile banking applications. However, no empirical studies have confirmed its fundamental role in bridging consumer trust in mobile banking applications. This uncertainty makes banks reluctant to invest in further upgrading their mobile banking applications for the users; therefore, it can affect consumer trust in the effectiveness and efficiency of the current systems. Hence, this research aims to examine how technological readiness influences perceived usefulness and ease of use, which influence satisfaction and trust. Researchers collected 400 data from mobile banking users in Thailand. Data were analysed using a Covariance-based Structural Equation Model (CB-SEM) technique. Results showed that technological readiness influenced ease of use. Meanwhile, technological readiness and ease of use predicted perceived usefulness. Furthermore, perceived usefulness and ease of use predicted satisfaction. Finally, consumer trust was derived from satisfaction, ease of use, and perceived usefulness.
