The article presents modern approaches to improving the efficiency of pipeline oil transportation using composite drag-reducing additives. The mechanisms of action, physicochemical properties, and methods for obtaining polymer reagents are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the application of additives in the transportation of high-viscosity, waxy, and light crude oils of Kazakhstan. The authors developed a composite drag-reducing additive based on a polyolefin polymer, poly-α-hexene (PAO), and methyl ester of linoleic acid (MELA) in white spirit. Experimental studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of CDRA concentration on hydraulic resistance during the transportation of crude oils from the Akshabulak and Kenkiyak fields. It was established that the maximum efficiency of the composite composition is achieved at a concentration of 0,06–0,08 %, with a flow resistance reduction of 42–46 %. The presence of a plateau effect in the concentration range of 0,04–0,06 % was also demonstrated. The obtained results confirm that the developed composite additive provides a reduction in hydraulic losses, pour point, and the intensity of paraffin deposition, which indicates its high potential for application in main oil pipelines of Kazakhstan.
