The article examines the ideological and conceptual foundations of Kazakh dance and explores the artistic vision reflected in the choreographic works of O.V. Vsevolodskaya-Golushkevich. The relevance of this study lies in the need for a scientific and theoretical understanding of the heritage of artists who have made significant contributions to the development of national art as a repository of authentic culture and ethnic heritage. The aim of the work is to provide a comprehensive analysis and scholarly assessment of the choreographer’s productions and creative activity during the 1970s–1990s. To achieve this aim, the following tasks were formulated: to analyze the "Kazakhstan period" in the choreographer's creative work, to identify the innovative features of her productions, andto determine the significance of O.V. Vsevolodskaya-Golushkevich's activity in developing Kazakh dance and shaping the methodology of ethnic dance culture in Kazakhstan. The source material includes the dance heritage of O.V. Vsevolodskaya-Golushkevich, publications of Kazakhstani scholars, and the principal works of the ballet master herself, which enriched the movement vocabulary and artistic imagery of Kazakh dance. The scientific novelty of the work lies in providing a comprehensive analysis of the choreographer's staging activities during the "Kazakhstan period" and bringing her lesser-known works to scholarly attention. Drawing on theoretical analysis and the author’s professional experience of working with the choreographer, the author formulated a methodological concept for reconstructing ethnic culture as reflected in master's choreographic compositions.
