A BSTRACT Background: Targeted immunobiological therapies have transformed the management of severe asthma by enabling precision medicine approaches. However, the rapidly expanding body of literature necessitates systematic evaluation to identify research trends and emerging directions. Objective: This study aimed to perform a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of global research on targeted immunobiological therapy in severe asthma. Materials and Methods: A total of 768 articles published between 2021 and 2026 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix R package), and data visualization was performed using Python-based tools. Key indicators, including publication trends, leading authors, institutions, countries, journal impact, collaboration networks, and keyword co-occurrence, were analyzed. Results: The results demonstrated a steady increase in annual publications, with peak productivity in 2025. The United States, Italy, and the United Kingdom were the leading contributors, supported by strong international collaborations. Prominent institutions and authors played central roles in advancing the field. Keyword analysis revealed a dominant focus on biologic therapies such as mepolizumab, omalizumab, and benralizumab, alongside core themes of efficacy, inflammation, and eosinophilic pathways. Thematic mapping identified well-established motor themes and emerging areas related to biomarkers and personalized medicine. Conclusion: The field of targeted immunobiological therapy in severe asthma is rapidly expanding, with a strong emphasis on precision medicine. This study provides valuable insights into research trends and future directions, supporting the continued development and optimization of biologic therapies.
