The article considers the Kazakh epic tradition within the context of the folklore heritage of Turkic peoples as a narrative system that forms cultural identity. The aim of the research is to determine the role of Kazakh heroic and lyric-epic poems in preserving cultural memory and shaping the national worldview. The study employs comparative-historical analysis, mythopoetic interpretation, and the theory of cultural memory. The analysis shows that Kazakh epic poetry functions as a cultural mechanism that stabilizes national identity through heroic archetypes, the concept of the ancestral homeland, genealogical memory, and socio-ethical values. The Kazakh epic heritage is described as an artistic model of the worldview of nomadic civilization within the broader Turkic epic space.
