The article discusses the problem of using artificial intelligence by students, taking into account both the positive and negative aspects of this approach. Comparing both sides of the same coin, one cannot ignore the fact that artificial intelligence has long become an integral part of the daily life of millions of people. In essence, artificial intelligence is the ability of a computer system to perform tasks that usually require human intelligence, i.e. mind, brains, thought activity. In this article, we will understand whether it is possible to use the capabilities of such a system to eliminate and prevent gaps in pedagogy. In the 21st century, humanity needs the introduction of artificial intelligence into the learning process, as well as the use of educational technologies in the field of education, which will give students the necessary knowledge and skills to be competitive and to achieve a niche in the global labor market, thanks to their high intellectual abilities. It is impossible not to take into account the negative aspects of the use of artificial intelligence, especially the fact that the use of artificial intelligence can make people dependent on neural networks, depriving them of the ability to build up their own knowledge, creativity and self-sufficiency. However, with the right use of artificial intelligence, it can significantly improve the learning process, helping students learn knowledge faster and more efficiently, develop skills and solve educational problems. Therefore, understanding the causes of the emerging problems of using artificial intelligence in education will allow us to find a balance between its advantages and existing risks, providing maximum results and favorable conditions for students.
