The article proposes an integrative model for the correction of emotional states in women with experience of psychological abuse based on the Self-Coping Method developed by M. A. Assimov. The method conceptualizes emotional states as a structured system consisting of three interconnected components: feeling, bodily sensation, and image. The experiential processing cycle “feeling – sensation – image” is described, along with a staged training program that includes six stages of self-regulation skill development. The psychological mechanisms underlying the method are analyzed, including the development of emotional awareness, interoceptive sensitivity, and imagery-based processing of emotional experience. The use of psychometric instruments such as TAS-20, ERQ, and PACT for evaluating the effectiveness of the method is proposed and theoretically justified. It is shown that mastering the Self-Coping Method contributes to the reduction of emotional reactivity and the development of adaptive behavioral strategies.
