The aim of this study is to comprehensively analyze the impact of temperature and pressure on the efficiency of oil displacement in porous reservoir media. The research objectives include evaluating how thermobaric conditions influence key reservoir properties such as oil viscosity, interfacial tension, wettability, and phase behavior, which are critical for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes. To achieve this, a multi-method approach was adopted, combining laboratory core flooding experiments, microfluidic visualization, and advanced numerical simulations using CMG STARS, ECLIPSE, and Navigator software. The results indicate that increasing temperature significantly improves oil mobility by reducing viscosity, lowering interfacial tension, and promoting a more water-wet reservoir surface. Meanwhile, pressure strongly affects miscibility and phase transitions, which is especially relevant for gas injection operations, including CO2 flooding. Sensitivity analysis identified optimal temperature–pressure conditions that maximize oil recovery. These findings underscore the importance of considering thermobaric effects in reservoir modeling and designing effective EOR strategies, contributing to more efficient exploitation of hydrocarbon resources.
