The paper presents a theoretical and statistical analysis of the influence of reservoir filtration properties on the dynamics of subsurface fluids in oil and gas reservoirs. The relationships between well productivity and permeability and porosity are examined, as well as the application of the Dupuit model for calculating production rates under radial inflow conditions. Within the framework of unsteady-state filtration, hydraulic diffusivity is used to assess the temporal propagation of pressure; it is shown that for typical parameters of a gas-saturated reservoir (k=10−13м2 , p0=10МПа, m=0,2, μ=10−5 Па·с), the pressure front can propagate up to 5 km within one year. The practical part includes an analysis of two-phase displacement using flow distribution functions and relative phase permeabilities, as well as an assessment of hydraulic fracturing effects: it is demonstrated that a fracture with a length on the order of 10 m is equivalent to increasing the effective wellbore radius to rₑq ≈ 5 m. The obtained results confirm the necessity of accounting for multiscale and multiphase hydrodynamic effects when modeling reservoir development and selecting enhanced oil recovery methods.
