This article discusses the theoretical foundations and practical possibilities of using multimedia corpus in language teaching. As digital technologies are integrated into education, the need for original (authentic), context-rich language learning tools is growing. The multimedia corpus, which combines video, audio, and text materials, allows students to understand the use of language during real-life communication by observing intonation, gestures, and facial expressions. In the course of the research, a comprehensive literature review was conducted, including such new developments in the use of multimedia enclosures as YouGlish, Voscreen and PlayPhrase.me Empirical results were analyzed showing improvements in students' listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and pragmatic skills through the use of audiovisual materials. Methodologically, the article is based on corpus linguistics, multimodal discursive analysis, and principles of data-based learning (DDL). The practical application of the multimedia corpus is described both in the classroom and in independent work. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the multimedia corpus, although it does not replace traditional methods, contributes to the systematic mastery of the language used and makes it much more effective. The research results are relevant because they can be used to develop promising curricula and resources for teaching languages such as Kazakh.
