The inequality of energy demand in the city heating network contributes to the creation of the prospect of integrated work between the heating network and renewable energy sources, as well as the management of peak loads through their reduction and redistribution. This paper presents the results of a series of studies carried out in several integrated premises that can be planned for future use in heating networks. The proposed paths are mainly applicable to private consumers with certain heat value limits, in order to assess the flexibility of heating demand without unnecessary costs. The results showed that a 10°C reduction in supply temperature from heating networks has virtually no effect on heat use for consumers with radiators and thermostatic valves. However, reductions of 20°C and 40°C may impact consumers with higher heat consumption rates of approximately 0.4 and 0.2 [units/10 min], respectively. In addition, extending the duration of testing until midday, when outdoor temperatures and solar radiation are most predictable, can prevent large energy fluctuations after testing.
