The relevance of the study is due to the increasing demographic changes and the aging process of the population of Kazakhstan, requiring an analysis of regional differences and factors affecting the life expectancy of older people. Despite the increase in the overall level of life expectancy in the country, significant interregional disparities remain, reflecting inequalities in access to medical and social services, income levels and environmental quality. The purpose of the study was to identify and analyze key socio-economic, medical, and environmental factors that determine regional differences in life expectancy among the older population in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to assess trends in regional beta-convergence in terms of life expectancy. The results of the study showed that regional differences in the life expectancy of the older population are formed under the influence of a complex of factors – the level of income and employment of the population, the availability of medical personnel, the development of social infrastructure and the state of the environment. The constructed economic and mathematical models and the analysis of β-convergence confirm the trend towards a gradual reduction of regional gaps - the most pronounced growth is observed in the southern and northern regions, previously characterized by a low initial level. Increasing the longevity of the older population requires a comprehensive government policy aimed at leveling regional differences, developing an affordable healthcare system, promoting the concept of active longevity and introducing digital health monitoring tools. This will strengthen the country's human potential and ensure sustainable development in the face of demographic aging.
