The article presents the results of complex non-destructive research at the Kansar burial site (Katon-Karagai district of East Kazakhstan Oblast), which included aerial photography and magnetic survey of the burials. Field work was carried out using modern equipment: aerial photography using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise UAV; magnetic survey using a Foerster Ferex 4.032 gradiometer. Aerial photography included the Kansar burial site and its immediate surroundings, totalling 42.6 ha. Magnetic survey was carried out on the central part of the monument, the survey area totalled 3 ha. The interdisciplinary research allowed to clarify the planigraphy of the burial site and to identify a number of objects that are not fixed on the modern surface. The data obtained, together with the excavation materials and topographic survey of the site, will be used to create a geoinformation system “Kansar burial site”.
