The study presents the results of archaeological research conducted at the site of urban planning and architecture – the “Necropolis-Mosque of Doszhan Hazret”, built near the Shiyli River (a tributary of the Uil River). The site, included in the State List of Monuments of History and Culture of Local Significance, is located in the Aktobe region and holds significant interest as a memorial complex dating back to the late 19th – early 20th centuries. Archaeological excavations carried out in the western, northern, and eastern parts of the madrasa revealed that it is a complex structure of vernacular architecture. The mosque and madrasa are single-story buildings constructed from adobe bricks. They consist of rooms with entrance and light openings and were designed by the architect as a unified complex. All the rooms are topped with domes. Within the madrasa, additional structural elements such as arches, sufas, stoves, etc., were uncovered.
