The role and importance of the uranium industry in the economic development of Kazakhstan are considered. The article discusses the contribution of the uranium industry to the economy of Kazakhstan, its export potential, the possibility of creating jobs and the impact on technological development. In addition, the role of international cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and the prospects for sustainable development of the uranium industry of Kazakhstan were analyzed. The strategic importance of the uranium industry in ensuring economic growth, as well as the opportunities and problems of its further development are determined.
