Аннотация
The Local Agenda for the 21st Century is an action program thatdefines the goals and means of action to ensure sustainable development in the localcommunity. Such a program requires the appropriate use of a number of technical,political and/or socio-economic instruments at the regional level. Thus, the purposeof this scientific article is to investigate and then develop some recommendationsfor the sustainable development of the Karaganda region. The authors used themethods of content analysis, statistical, mathematical, comparative analysis, as wellas the method of causal relationship and analysis and synthesis. Hypothesis 1: Thedevelopment and implementation of environmental and sustainable developmentplanning provide the akimats of the region with an opportunity for developmenton an ecological and economic scale.
