Аннотация
The article is devoted to the study of intellectual biography of oneof the people’s writer, journalist, public figure and honoredworker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a native of Zhambyl region (villageTalapty) Sherkhan Murtaza. In the article the main stages and earlierunknown subjects from Sh.Murtaza’s intellectual life were marked,peculiarities and creative originalityof Sh.Murtaza’s publicism wereanalyzed, andalso influence of these publicisticmaterials on formation of Kazakhstan’sstatehood, on national self-consciousness of Kazakh people wasanalyzed.His main ideas and motives ofworks and the waythey correlate with the national culture of Kazakhstan wereanalyzed,historical, socio-cultural and ethnic contexts influencingon Sh.Murtaza’s creativity wereconsidered. The materials of this article allows us to betterunderstand the contribution of Sherkhan Murtaza to the preservation and dissemination of Kazakhcultural identity. Scientific novelty of the work consists in historicalcomprehension and interpretation of Sh.Murtaza’s rich heritage in the aspect of interdisciplinarymethodology of new biographical history. Application of historical-biographical method in the research allowed to use literary and artistic methodsof material presentation, to give the plot of intellectual biography emotionality and to form the author’s position in estimation ofpersonality of Sh. Murtaza.
