Аннотация
This literature review explores the evolving landscape of graphic design education in art schools, focusing on innovative teaching methods that integrate digital technologies within experiential, activity-based, and project-driven environments. It discusses the benefits of an interdisciplinary curriculum approach and the incorporation of global culture, which together form a meta-level framework that could be assessed and evaluated. The review emphasizes the role of digital technologies and the continued relevance of traditional art methods in a post-digital world. It highlights the value of experiential learning in nurturing creativity and professional competencies, as well as the increasing emphasis on interdisciplinary education, particularly within the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) contexts. Additionally, the review identifies gaps in existing research, such as the lack of longitudinal studies on the long-term effects of digital integration and the dominance of Western perspectives. It suggests that future research should focus on developing diagnostic tools, promoting sustainable practices, creating culturally inclusive pedagogies, and addressing ethical issues arising from emerging technologies like AI, AR, and VR. In conclusion, while the review acknowledges significant progress in graphic design education, it advocates for continuous innovation and adaptation to fully leverage these teaching approaches in preparing students for the rapidly evolving creative industries.
