The article is devoted to the analysis of a fragment from the work by John O’Donohue “Anam Cara. Spiritual Wisdom from the Celtic World" in line with anthropocentric and interpretative theories of language. The purpose of the article is to identify additional spiritual meanings, as well as cognitive models, linguistic mechanisms and means that create these meanings in the process of secondary subjective interpretation of knowledge about the world by the author of the work. As a result of the conceptual and linguistic-stylistic analysis, additional spiritual meanings were revealed in the conceptual and thematic areas: The Irish Landscape and The Celtic Mind. The author's individual interpretation of physical-geographical (the sun, the moon, the limestone valley, the horizon, the sky, ocean, stones, light, color) and geometric concepts (line, circle, spiral, height, depth) as concepts of collective knowledge enabled the author to show that the originality of the Irish landscape reflects the nature of the Celtic mind, i.e., the relationship between the natural environment and the collective mind of the ethnic group in the context of the Universe. The article identifies cognitive and linguistic mechanisms for the formation of spiritual meanings, as well as means of their representation in language.
