The world has seen changes in the structure and prevalence of mental and behavioral disorders. Psychiatry has gone beyond its traditional boundaries and has become part of medical psychology, sociology, etc. The need for a new direction of research is obvious so that it can be transferred to neighboring areas. The characteristic features of dentists, the features of their strategies to deal with professional stress as risk factors for the occurrence of burnout syndrome have not been studied enough. Therefore, the study of the clinic, dynamics, prognosis and features of the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders by dentists is an urgent problem of modern psychiatry and dentistry.
