Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence and structure of dentoalveolar anomalies (DNA) in school-age children living in the Karaganda region. Materials and methods: a study was conducted of 300 schoolchildren aged 12-14 living in the Karaganda region. Statistical data results are processed in SPSS software version 16.0. Results and discussions. After the examination, the following data were obtained: the incidence of dentoalveolar anomalies was 68%, the number of children with orthognathic bite was 42%; out of 58% of children, the following types of bites are noted: level bite (16%), distal bite (15%), deep bite (14%), cross bite (7%), open bite (6%) and mesial or prognathism (4% ).At the same time, the structure of dentoalveolar anomalies is presented as follows: anomaly in the position and eruption of individual teeth (47%), malocclusion (42%) cases.
