Fe nanotubes (NTs) are successfully fabricated into the pores of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) ion‐track membranes by potentiostatic electrochemical deposition technique at different voltages. Morphological peculiarities and main structural parameters at different deposition modes are analyzed. NTs have a body‐centered cubic (BCC) lattice with spatial singony Im‐3m(229) typical for the iron phase and selected crystalline direction [110] along the main axis of the 1D nanostructure (NS). The possibility of changing the NT wall thickness by changing the deposition potential is shown. Micro‐ and macromagnetic characteristics of Fe NTs are analyzed and their relationship with morphological and structural features is discussed. The inner diameter, structural and magnetic characteristics of NSs may be simply modulated by controlling the deposition conditions. The results provide a useful method for fabricating low‐cost and a simply scalable route for the design of both separate 1D hollow metal NSs and 2D anisotropic ferromagnetic structural materials on the base of flexible polymer film, which are important for applications in modern nanoelectronics.
