This scientific research represents results of ecological test made on corn hybdrids of domestic and foreign selection in humid areas of Akmola region arid areas the years of 2015-2016 ( on average of 2 years). The aim of the study: explore the influence of time frame of swing and selection of hybrids for corn harvest and quality. 7 hybrid types of domestic and foreign selection were learned in two different sowing period: May 15 (I) and May 25 (II). Crop yield of green mass: During the sowing period II the yield of green mass of all selected hybrids was higher than during the I sowing. Crop yield of dry matter: During the sowing period II the yield of dry matter of all selected hybrids was also higher compared to I sowing. The most efficient seed of the I time sowing became hybrid Falcon (30,4 c/ha). For the II period of sowing, hybrid Falcon (28,6 c/ha) showed highest efficiency results. It has been concluded that II sowing time frame is more profitable for good yield formation as well as for the green mass and dry matter formation in arid climate of Akmola region. Kazakhstani corn hybrids Budan 237 МВ, Turgai 5/87, Sary-Arka 150 АСV were not inferior in terms of yield of green mass and dry matter, and surpassed their foreign counterparts in a number of indicators. The Falcon hybrid by the Singenta company showed the highest grain yield at both sowing dates. Corn hybrids that are characterized by drought resistance, high productivity, and yield stability were identified. Given research results can be used for selecting drought-resistant corn hybrids and for developing optimal agricultural techniques in order to cultivate this crop in dry conditions.
