Transmission electron-diffraction studies are carried out on N2 O films grown at temperatures 11–18 K and heated slowly to 45 K. The available structural data make it possible to identify the abrupt change in the intramolecular reflection bands observed earlier for N2O films (A. S. Drobyshev et al., Fiz. Nizk. Temp. 20, 600 (1994) [Low Temp. Phys. 20, 475 (1994)]) as a crystallization transformation in which the amorphous component (whose existence at low temperatures is an anomaly exhibited only by N2O cryocrystals; N. V. Krainyukova and M. A. Strzhemechny, Fiz. Nizk. Temp. 21, 1254 (1995) [Low Temp. Phys. 22, 960 (1995)]) loses its metastability near 39–42 K and is transformed into the Pa3 structure as a result of rapid crystallization.
