This paper explores the use of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing technology with Poly-Ether-Ether-Ketone (PEEK) material in the development of a robotic rehabilitation device for children with musculoskeletal disorders. The study analyzes the mechanical, thermal, vibrational, and radiation-resistant properties of FDM-printed PEEK based on existing literature. The results demonstrate that PEEK offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio, low thermal conductivity, and high resistance to dynamic and environmental stresses, making it a viable alternative to traditional aluminum alloys in pediatric rehabilitation devices. The integration of FDM technology allows for individual customization of the device structure, ensuring ergonomic compatibility with children's anatomy and enabling the creation of lightweight, durable, and biocompatible solutions for personalized therapy.
