Introduction. The article presents the results of a study aimed at improving the industrial and environmental safety of deposits by developing a methodology for creating quarry slope stability maps using different sets of initial information. The object of the study is the Vasilkovskoye gold deposit located in the Akmola region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Research Methodology. The work uses an integrated approach, including: engineering and geological study of the structural and tectonic structure of the rock massif with mapping of disturbed areas, instrumental mine surveying observations using modern devices and assessment of changes in the stress-strain state of the massif by modeling the state of the side massif. Research Results. A methodology for maintaining an integrated geodynamic monitoring system has been developed. A methodology for creating models of the stress-strain state of the side massif, i.e. creating maps of the stability of the quarry slopes, is proposed. The research results have been implemented at operating mining enterprises during the implementation of projects, as well as using their results in the educational process of Satbayev University. Scientific novelty. As a result of the research, the following methods and tools for monitoring quarry walls in the republic and abroad were studied, developed, and implemented into production; a methodology for monitoring quarry wall massifs, providing for a comprehensive consideration of all natural and technological factors; a methodology for geoinformation mapping of quarry wall stability based on geomonitoring data; and a composition of a strengthening solution from mining waste to improve the stability of disturbed sections of quarry benches. The novelty of the developed documents is confirmed by patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Practical significance. The methodology for creating quarry wall stability maps can be used in other republics in similar situations, as well as in the educational process of master's and doctoral students at the K.I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University.
