This study examined the influence of digital assets on strategic planning and corporate financial performance in Kazakhstan within the Central Asian context. Digital assets included blockchain solutions, smart contracts, enterprise resource planning systems, digital management platforms, and AI-based analytical tools. A pragmatic mixed-methods, nonrandomized comparative design combined quantitative financial and survey data with executive interviews. The sample comprised 10 Kazakhstani companies observed from January 2023 to December 2024 and divided into experimental and control groups. In total, 200 employees and executives participated in the survey. Financial statements, pre- and post-test results, questionnaires, interviews, and operational monitoring records were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Student’s t-test, the Mann–Whitney U-test, and thematic analysis. The experimental group demonstrated higher income growth, greater reductions in operating costs, and higher employee satisfaction than the control group. Employees with initially low digital skills improved their performance by 30% in the experimental group, compared with 15% in the control group. The findings indicate that digital asset integration may enhance operational efficiency, employee adaptation, and strategic responsiveness. However, the small nonrandom sample limits the generalizability of the results.
