Prepared in accordance with the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology. It was found that surgical nurses aged 30-39 obtained higher mean scores of the assurance subscale and patience for work processes. It was determined that surgical nurses working 40 hours and below, with an age of 30-39 years and a duration of experience of 6-10 years in the institution obtained higher mean scores from the patience for inadequacy subscale. Surgical nurses with balanced workload were found to have higher mean scores in the patience for patients and their relatives and patience for inadequacy subscales.
