Introduction.Chronic suppurative otitis media is a prolonged inflammatory process in the tympanic cavity and mastoid process, characterized by persistent or recurrent purulent discharge through a perforation of the tympanic membrane for 2-6 weeks. This pathology is a major cause of hearing impairment and intracranial complications in otorhinolaryngological practice, particularly in developing countries, including Kazakhstan. In recent years, the spread of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms in chronic suppurative otitis media has become one of the main problems in global healthcare. This trend is especially pronounced in regions where empirical treatment of ENT infections is commonly used, while bacteriological studies are insufficiently conducted.According to global statistics, approximately 31 million people suffer from chronic suppurative otitis media annually, with 22% being children under 5 years of age.The prevalence varies from 4.0% to 33.3% in different countries. In Kazakhstan,
