The article is devoted to the issues of improving the quality of beekeeping products through the introduction of modern veterinary and sanitary standards. Methods of disease prevention, requirements for the conditions of keeping and feeding of bees, which comply with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and International technical regulations, are considered. The peculiarities of climatic conditions, high mobility of apiaries, limited veterinary supervision, as well as insufficient awareness of beekeepers about current methods of prevention and treatment contribute to the spread of diseases in the region. Various methods are used to protect bee colonies from diseases, however, the most effective and environmentally friendly is the use of preparations based on medicinal plants. We have studied the therapeutic efficacy of a new phytopreparation for the prevention and treatment of bee diseases using the example of nosemosis of honey bees in the conditions of the West Kazakhstan region. Epizootic examinations of apiaries for nosematosis were carried out and the therapeutic efficacy of a phytopreparation against nosema, as well as acarapidosis, ascospherosis and American rot was tested. The studies were conducted in accordance with the guidelines. A total of 250 samples from 16 bee farms in the West Kazakhstan region were examined. An analysis of the results of our own research with detailed clinical, pathoanatomic and microscopic examinations revealed infection with varroatosis, nosematosis, acarapidosis, American rot and ascospherosis. This paper presents the results of a nosematosis study. According to the results of the study, nosematosis was detected in 75 hives, which accounted for about 29.5% of the total number of hives studied. Nosematosis was most often recorded in the apiaries of the Bayterek and Terekta districts of the West Kazakhstan region. The phytopreparation used corresponds to such drugs as Bipin-T and Nosemat in terms of therapeutic efficacy, the results of our research show that the effectiveness of the phytopreparation and control in the treatment of nosemosis is 100%. The comparative analysis is the basis for a clear identification of the main problems of beekeeping and effective planning of preventive measures in the future.
