This article examines state measures to support the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex in Western countries (EU, USA, Canada, Australia) in order to identify the conditions for their economic efficiency and the possibilities for adapting this experience to other regions. The study systematizes the key areas of digital transformation in the agricultural sector, including precision farming, the use of big data and IoT, and automation. A comparative analysis of state support mechanisms (subsidies, tax incentives, infrastructure projects) is carried out, and their effectiveness is assessed based on economic indicators. Particular attention is paid to factors influencing the success of the implementation of digital technologies, such as the level of digital literacy, availability of infrastructure, and the institutional environment. Based on the analysis, recommendations are formulated for countries with emerging digital economies, including optimal models of state regulation, conditions for adapting foreign experience, and measures to reduce risks. The results of the study are of practical value for policymakers and agricultural enterprises interested in accelerated and effective digital modernization.
