The article presents a comprehensive analysis of oil and gas treatment process schemes at the Alibekmola and Kozhasai fields under conditions of increasing water cut and tightening environmental requirements. The processes of three-stage separation, heating, dehydration, desalting, and oil demethanization/mercaptan removal, as well as associated gas and produced water treatment systems, were examined. It was established that an increase in water cut to 60–63% by 2045 will lead to higher thermal loads, reduced separation efficiency, and increased chemical reagent consumption. The main causes of C5+ hydrocarbon losses were identified as pressure instability in separators and the absence of intermediate condensation of flash gas. Based on PVT analysis, recommendations were developed for optimizing separation pressure at each stage. The feasibility of implementing recuperative heat exchangers, intermediate gas condensation, and modernization of the oil mercaptan removal unit with alkaline solution regeneration was substantiated. Technical solutions for improving gas treatment systems were proposed. Implementation of the proposed solutions ensures an 8–12% increase in energy efficiency, a 25–35% reduction in reagent consumption, and a 15–25% decrease in specific pollutant emissions.
