The problem of choosing a profession is becoming especially relevant in the modern digitalized world. In this regard, special importance should be given to career guidance practices. This article is devoted to the results of a career guidance test conducted among Kazakhstani teenagers aged 10 to 19. In the study, using data from the Qabilet database, the professional inclinations and personal characteristics of Kazakhstani teenagers are determined. The test uses a mixed methodology, combining the Jovaishi, Cattell and author's questions. The test results allow us to identify professional inclinations, skills and personal characteristics. The purpose of this work is to study which professional areas Kazakhstani teenagers are inclined to. According to the results of the research, teenagers are more inclined toward professions related to the service sector and communications, and least of all to economic and research areas. Despite this, one of the strongest skills is an understanding of technology and market processes. There are also fewer teenagers who are inclined towards aesthetic and creative areas. Gender differences are observed, where girls are more inclined towards humanitarian areas, and boys – towards technical ones. The personality block shows that today's teenagers are empathetic and sensitive, but dominant and independent. Girls are more anxious than boys, but they compensate for this with communicativeness.
