Improving financial literacy is a key national priority aimed at developing the financial market and consumer protection. Based on the Concept of improving financial literacy (2020-2024), the state actively introduces among students educational programs aimed at improving financial literacy. Integrating financial literacy into the education system not only helps students develop personal financial management skills, but also increases their protection against financial fraud. The aim of the study is to identify problems of methodological and organizational support of teaching the discipline "Foundations of financial literacy", in the context of improving digital financial literacy in the system of national priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of the study, a comprehensive analysis was carried out of the improvement of digital financial literacy in the system of national priorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the perspective of the practice of teaching discipline "Fundamentals of financial literacy" at universities of the republic. The study revealed a significant gap between the strategic goals of the state (Vision 2020-2024) and the real practice of training. On the basis of expert interviews with 18 teachers of the course "Fundamentals of financial literacy" from 15 universities of Kazakhstan using the Delphi method, it was determined that the educational process suffers from a lack of systemic approach.
