This article presents a comprehensive assessment of the level and quality of life of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The study highlights current trends, regional differences, and key factors affecting citizens’ socio-economic well-being. The analysis is based on official data from the Bureau of National Statistics, the Ministry of National Economy, UNDP, the World Bank, and the Ranking.kz portal, as well as objective and subjective indicators of quality of life. The results show that Kazakhstan ranks among the leaders in Central Asia on the Human Development Index and belongs to the group of countries with a high level of development. At the same time, significant disparities persist across regions in terms of income, wages, access to social infrastructure, and subjective life satisfaction. Economic growth does not always translate into proportional improvements in the living standards of all social groups, with poverty, inequality, and rising indebtedness remaining challenges. The findings can inform the improvement of state social policies, regional development programs, and initiatives to increase household incomes.
