This study investigates the features of producing non-autoclaved aerated concrete with the addition of sodium sulfonate, which is used to stabilize the gas-formation process in the mixture. The relevance of the research is associated with the need to improve the quality and performance characteristics of aerated concrete products while reducing energy consumption in production by eliminating autoclave curing. The paper analyzes the main chemical mechanisms of gas formation that occur during the development of the porous structure of the material. In addition, the role of the surfactant additive in stabilizing gas bubbles and ensuring a uniform distribution of pores in the aerated concrete structure is considered. Particular attention is paid to the influence of sodium sulfonate on the processes of structure formation, pore development, and the physical and mechanical properties of the resulting material. Based on experimental studies, the optimal dosage of the additive depending on the designed density of the products has been determined. The results show that the use of sodium sulfonate improves the pore structure, increases the strength, and simultaneously reduces the average density of non-autoclaved aerated concrete, which enhances its efficiency and prospects for application in construction.
