In this study, a heuristic method for solving problems in decision making tasks (DM) for manag-ing the operating modes of multi-criteria process facilities under uncertainty due to the fuzzy nature of available information is proposed. The originality of the work lies in the maximum use of available fuzzy information, which represents the knowledge, experience and erudition of decision makers and experts, which allows for more adequate and effective decision-making under fuzzy conditions. The main results of the study are: a formulated mathematical statement of decision-making problems; a developed heuristic method based on a modification of the Pareto optimality principle; results of op-timization of the parameters of the benzene and raffinate production process, which have advantages over the results of optimization of known deterministic methods. The proposed heuristic method for decision-making under fuzzy conditions allows for the following: an increase in the volumes of benzene and raffinate from the output of the process control unit by 2.4 and 0.7 thousand tons/year, respectively; ensuring maximum values of the membership function that assess the degrees of fulfillment of fuzzy constraints on the quality indicators of benzene, which are not determined by known methods; is more energy efficient, as it provides better results with lower energy consumption for creating the temperature and pressure of the main units of the BPU.
