The purpose of this study is to determine the main equipment for the hydraulic system of a stationary hoist. Four modes of operation are considered, for the proposed design of a stationary hoist, which made it possible to determine the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder rods during the operation of these modes. The basic hydraulic scheme of the translational motion of the hydraulic drive for lifting and lowering the load-lifting frame hydraulic scheme of the hoist is considered. A design scheme of the forces during the operation of a stationary hoist is proposed. The forces on the rods of the hydraulic cylinders of the load-lifting frame of the stationary hoist are determined. Calculations of the minimum parameters for the selection of hydraulic cylinders of a stationary hoist are performed. Calculations and selection of the main equipment (hydraulic cylinders, pumps and electric motors) for the hydraulic system of a stationary hoist have been carried out
