Inclusive education in higher educational institutions necessitates a comprehensive approach to prepare teaching staff for effectively teaching diverse student groups, including those with disabilities. The aim of the paper is to provide a comprehensive guide for educators and administrators seeking to enhance inclusivity in higher education. The paper explores the strategies and teaching methods essential for faculty development in inclusive education. It begins by outlining the importance of inclusive education and the current challenges faced by universities. The paper then delves into specific strategies for preparing faculty, such as professional development programs, workshops, and continuous training focused on inclusive practices. Additionally, it shows the results of the survey that discovers the faculty’s attitude towards the readiness of the department and the educational institution in general; it examines effective teaching methods that cater to diverse learning needs, including differentiated instruction, use of assistive technologies, and collaborative learning techniques. By integrating these strategies and methods, universities can create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success and social integration for all students.
